The practices of mindfulness and lovingkindness help us to connect with and accept the changing experiences of life that arise in body, heart and mind. Throughout this silent retreat, we will explore infusing present moment awareness with kindness. Through developing relaxation, we'll access a natural clarity of mind and openness of heart that can respond to the joys and sorrows of life with increasing sensitivity, stability and love.

The teachers will be assisted by Oren J. Sofer. Optional daily yoga offered by Éowyn Ahlstrom will extend this sense of kindness to our bodies.

This course is suitable for both new and experienced meditators.

If you are 18-26, IMS offers this retreat on a 'You Choose' fee basis. Please email registration@dharma.org to register at this rate. Please note that as of January 20th all of the you-choose slots have been awarded.
